Every stage—from initial sketches and 2D ideation to 3D visualization, technical development, production, and on-site execution—was precisely orchestrated to preserve Samsung’s premium brand standards and deliver cost-efficient results.

Background

MediaMarkt introduced a new store design concept emphasizing modernity, flexibility, and customer experience. As a long-term partner, Samsung aligned with this vision by creating a smart, modular, and premium brand zone inside the store.

To suit different store sizes, the experience zone was designed in four scalable formats—XS, S, M, and L—ensuring consistency and flexibility across retail spaces in Austria.


Creative Idea

Inspired by the simplicity and creativity of LEGO, the concept focused on building, rebuilding, and reconfiguring with ease. Every design element could be placed, removed, or rearranged depending on store layout and display needs.

This modular approach enhanced visual simplicity, functional engagement, and flexibility, creating a high-end yet playful brand space that reflects Samsung’s innovative spirit.


Insights & Strategy

In retail environments, consumers look for engaging, hands-on experiences that clearly demonstrate a product’s true value proposition. Samsung leveraged this behavior by designing an environment where visitors could interact directly with the latest technologies:

TV Zone: Demonstrates seamless connectivity between Samsung TVs and other Galaxy devices—smartphones, laptops, and watches.

Soundbar Wall: Features a comparison system allowing customers to test up to ten different soundbars simultaneously.

The strategy combined design and functionality into a cohesive brand experience, making every visit immersive, educational, and inspiring.
