In Spain, nearly 80% of Alzheimer's and neurological disease cases go undiagnosed, mainly because people over 55 rarely undergo preventive cognitive testing due to medical stigma, lack of awareness or the need to visit a hospital. Yet only early detection can delay the disease's impact and significantly improve quality of life for millions of people.

SOLUTION

Cheil Spain transformed clinical cognitive screening into an accesible, stigma-free experience. The Mind Guardian is the first clinically validated, AI-powered video game, capable of detecting early signs of Alzheimer's and other neurological diseases with 97% accuracy.

Available on any Android tablet, the immersive open-world game analyzes players' decisions and behaviors in real time, turning everyday gameplay into meaningful cognitive health data. No hospitals, no doctors, just play. 

RESULTS



After two years of multidisciplinary development, the project was launched across Spain, Romania, Cyprus and Slovenia, supported by leading neurological and patient associations.

The games surpassed 45,000 downloads in its first weeks, achieved excellent user ratings and generated widespread media coverage, reaching over 972,000 people and delivering more than 1M€ in earned media value, positioning The Mind Guardian as a scalable, science-backed breakthrough in cognitive care.
