South Korea's top advertising agency, Cheil Worldwide hires China's top creative, Jason Zhao as COO ECD April 7th 2009 #8211 Seoul, Korea: Cheil Worldwide has announced that it has appointed China's top creative, Jason Zhao as its first COO and Executive Creative Director for its Cheil Worldwide China network. Jason Zhao was most recently working for Publicis China Beijing as Executive Creative Partner. He is also co-founder of Ignite China) where he served as Executive Creative Partner. In 2000, he was relocated for four years to Canada where he was Executive Creative Director at CanAsian, followed by Founder/Creative Director of Vistagic Canada. Jason Zhao brings with him to knowledge and experience from working with clients such as HP, Nestle, China Mobile, Mengniu, Cadbury, UBS, LG, Bank of China, Chivas Brother, NEC, HSBC, Microsoft, Canon, Australia Tourism Commission and others. Jason Zhao will be based out of the Cheil Beijing (RHQ) office and will report to Joe McDonagh, Cheil's Worldwide Executive Creative Director. Cheil Worldwide China is comprised of offices in Beijing, Shanghai, Chengdu, Shenyang, Guangzhou, Hong Kong and Taipei.
