Cheil Communications has become the world's 16th largest marketing communications group, according to the annual agency report published by Advertising Age. The U.S. advertising weekly assessed Cheil's worldwide revenues at US$256.3 million for 2006, placing it 16th overall and fourth in Asia. Last year, Cheil was ranked 18th on the world's top 25 marketing organizations list based on its 2005 revenues. Cheil Communications America, Cheil's subsidiary headquartered in Ridgefield Park, New Jersey, was ranked 95th on the list of top U.S. marketing communications agencies, up from 98th last year.
