Wins Include Grand Award for Annual Reports Corporate Seoul, May 18, 2007 - Cheil Communications has won three awards in the 17th Annual Astrid Awards, including the Grand Award for Annual Reports Corporate for its Samsung Annual Report 2005. Cheil also won the Grand Award for Annual Reports at the Astrids in 2006. In addition to the annual report category win, Cheil took a silver award for in the Corporate Brochure category for its 'We Envision' brochure for Samsung Card. Cheil also received a silver award in the Customer Magazine category for 'DigitAll,' the quarterly customer publication for Samsung. The awards were announced in New York on May 17. The Astrid Awards, organized by Mercomm, are an international competition honoring outstanding achievements in design communications. Judging is carried out by leading designers, art directors, and graphic artists from Canada, Europe, Hong Kong and all across the United States. The Astrid 2007 Awards received over 600 entries from 15 countries. As well as numerous Astrid Awards, Cheil also picked up five ARC Awards in 2006.
