Seoul, August 2, 2007 - Andrew Berglund, an award-winning digital communications specialist, has joined Cheil Communications as Global Interactive Creative Director at its worldwide headquarters in Seoul.
Mr. Berglund, who was previously Executive Creative Director at Interone Worldwide based in Germany, will be responsible for providing a range of innovative digital communications solutions for Cheil's global clients.
I'm very excited to have the opportunity to build up Cheil's strength in the scope of interactive and integrated initiatives, Mr. Berglund said. 'Digital communications is an industry that is continually evolving, and that is the great challenge of working in this field. My ambition is to help Cheil and its clients explore and push the boundaries in the interactive digital arena.'
Mr. Berglund's PACE microsite for BMW picked up silver and bronze awards at the 2007 Cannes Cyber Lions, and he also has Art Director's Club awards among many other international prizes.
Prior to joining Interone, Mr. Berglund was with JWT Group in the Netherlands. He has over 12 years of industry experience, working with a wide variety of brands such as BMW, Unilever, Adidas, Sony, and British Airways.
