Prathap Suthan appointed National Creative Director at Cheil India

Seoul, August 31, 2007 #8212 Prathap Suthan, an award-winning Creative Director with more than 20 year's of industry experience, is joining Cheil Communications India as National Creative Director from September 3. Mr. Suthan, who was previously National Creative Director at Grey Global Group, India, will take responsibility for heading up Cheil's growing creative team in New Delhi. “I'm looking forward to working with the extremely talented creative team at Cheil during this exciting growth period,” Mr. Suthan said. “This is a great opportunity to play a strategic and creative role with an expanding global agency, and to work with cutting-edge brands such as Samsung Electronics.” Joe McDonagh, Cheil Communications Global Creative Director, said he is delighted to have someone of Mr. Suthan's caliber leading the creative effort in India. “Pat brings a wealth of experience with him to this role, and I'm sure he will contribute significantly to raising the bar creatively at Cheil India,” he said. Mr. Suthan, 44, spent more than 10 years with Grey Global Group in both Calcutta and New Delhi, after starting his career at Mudra Ahmedabad in 1987. He has developed over 200 campaigns over the past two decades, picking up more than 50 awards including Asia's only Euro Effie for Incredible India. Last year Mr. Suthan was honored with the prestigious Indira Super Achiever Award. Mr. Suthan has worked with a wide variety of brands such as Aviva, Dominos, GSK, GE, Genpact, Incredible India, Ministry of Finance, Hyundai, SBI Card, Ranbaxy, and GM.
